Virtua Tennis 4 is Sega’s fast‑paced, arcade‑style tennis title that landed on the Wii in the UK on 29 April 2011. It swaps realism for pure, button‑mashing fun: swing the Wii Remote (or use the MotionPlus accessory) to hit top‑spin lobs, slice shots and power volleys, and give the Remote a flick to add spin . The game’s core is the World Tour (or “career”) mode, where you create a custom player, climb the rankings over four seasons, earn prize money, unlock gear and take on a board‑game‑style map that sends you to tournaments across Asia, Australia, Europe and North America.

You can jump straight into Exhibition matches with any of the 19 licensed ATP stars (including Nadal, Federer and Murray) plus 7 WTA players, 4 legends and a couple of hidden bosses . or challenge friends in up to‑four‑player local Party mode, which mixes the main tennis action with a handful of quirky mini‑games like Egg Collector and Bomb Match. For solo fans there’s an Arcade streak where you try to win as many matches in a row as possible, and online leaderboards let you compare scores via Wii Connect24 .
