Civic organisation #PayTheGrants is calling for the money said to have been stolen from SASSA beneficiaries at Postbank to be returned to the rightful claimants.

A KPMG forensic investigation has found that over R890 million had been stolen from Postbank between 2021 and 2022.

The probe's report has now been referred to the Hawks.

The findings were presented by the Communications Departments to Parliament's Portfolio Committee last week.
