A complete negation of all rights of women in their County. Everybody suffered the man children and the women. The whole country suffered the entire Afghanistan structure suffered. The talibans assassinate Hamid karzais father inquta Pakistan. Then Hamid karzais act of defils an act of fortitude and honor. People came to me and said you shouldn't move with his body to Afghanistan as the taliban will arrest you and kill you but I said no m going to go with my father's body. He leads his father's funeral procession into kandhar. Into the way passed by taliban. Their ancestoral village for theryo. 9/11 when the AL quida gave the terrorism a new and horrific comvitation. Followed by the inevitable war launched by an international coalition forces. With the evince of September 11 ofcource the whole thing changed. Karzai slips into kandaar to make a personal war with the taliban. I even told my wife when I was leaving at the last moment I told my wife that m leaving for Afghanistan and if u don't come back you should understand. In a compelling documentary we take the ring side view of the evaluation of a statesmen. A national leader a man of concensus a man of peace. That's also a part of my personality I am a tribal person . And in the tribal environment we take people along. Even as he guides his people from chaos to order as he begins to rebuild institutions based rubbled by decades of civil war he has to provide such basics as food shelter he has to restore women's rights.
