I am an educator & Medical Physicist based in East Texas. I am also a Math & Science Curriculum Writer & an Instructor at LeTourneau University in Longview Texas. I am very interested in equipping students in the K-12 space to grow in Math & Science Mastery while teaching them the history of mathematics and applications of Science. I am looking for opportunities to present to educators/teachers in your district on the topic of "How To Use Math & Science History to Increase Student Engagement"

I want to help raise the next generation of top Physicists, Chemists, Engineers and so on (I have done a lot of research in the area of the History of science and mathematics) and I have seen the impact it can have on students. I have created a program called Counting to Calculus (more information below). My curriculum starts with the end in mind (exploring space for example where I show students how they can get there starting from basic math all the way to Calculus, Chemistry, Physics & Engineering).

I have also put some of my Math and science resources into workbooks which condense all the math concepts students learn from 1st to 12th grade into 3 books. I released the workbooks for my Math Curriculum on Amazon. It guides students from basic math all the way to the beginning of Calculus in an efficient and accelerated way. I am looking for ideas on how to help more students love math and science more as I teach the history of the Mathematicians and the applications of the concepts.

*Counting To Calculus is an innovative Math-, Physics & Chemistry-integrated curriculum designed to enable undergraduate students complete multiple years of K-12 Math & Science in a very short amount of time. This is to allow them to get back on track to continue their pursuit of STEM majors. The curriculum guides students from Counting all the way _To Calculus_—to get them to master all the necessary topics from Prealgebra, Beginning & Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry & Precalculus (along with the history of the people & civilizations behind the concepts and applications in STEM Fields). It also encourages them to see applications of Mathematics in Physics and Chemistry.
