🧪 Scientific Concept Behind the Activity:
When a monochromatic light ray (single wavelength) enters a glass prism, it undergoes refraction—a change in direction due to a change in medium (from air to glass and again from glass to air). Unlike white light which disperses into seven colours, monochromatic light doesn’t split. However, it still bends because of the difference in optical density of the media.

In this activity, you will visualize how the light ray bends twice:
1. At the first surface (Air to Glass): Bends towards the normal
2. At the second surface (Glass to Air): Bends away from the normal

This causes the overall deviation of light from its original path. By tracing the ray path, you’ll see the incident ray, refracted ray, and emergent ray – forming a Z-like pattern through the prism.
