This video is about a theoretical example designed to illustrate some of the concepts of groundwater storage in an unconfined aquifer. We will look at how the porosity, specific yield and specific retention can be used to calculate: (i) the saturated volume of the aquifer, (ii) the groundwater in storage and (iii) the exploitable volume of groundwater.
