In 2022, Jacob Aldridge was nominated to the "Virtual Speakers Hall of Fame" in recognition of more than a decade of delivering presentations and workshops remotely around the world.

Jacob began offering his services remotely in 2010, when he moved his International Business Advisory firm from Brisbane, Australia to London, UK. He delivered his first presentations in the USA and EU in 2011, Hong Kong in 2013, and has since worked in more than 20 countries around the world.

This combination - helping business owners through The Great Recession and a demonstrated expertise delivering remotely - meant Jacob was perfectly placed in 2020. He has delivered on his signature topic "Don't Waste a Good Recession" to hundreds of business owners, presenting almost every week since March 2020.

The "Virtual Speakers Hall of Fame" Nomination was in recognition of both the longevity of time as a remote keynote and workshop speaker, and in particular Jacob's contribution during recent uncertain times.

As part of his Nomination, Jacob was invited to deliver this Showcase address, introduced by Ed Rigsbee CSP, CAE. Ed Rigsbee is the Executive Director & Corporate President of Cigar Peg, the philanthropic organisation behind the Virtual Speakers Hall of Fame and the largest single donor to the National Speakers Association (USA) Foundation.
