A story by the Discover Channel will show the story of a Upper Michigan man building a device that uses your ice auger engine to get you to your spot with ease!

Adam Ford, from Kingsford Michigan now living in Green Bay WI has a very unique devise that is very useful for ice fisherman everywhere. Luckily surviving a life or death situation in 2010 he came up with a product that could change ice fishing transportation as we know it. Adam was stranded alone in a blizzard 2 miles off shore in the dark with nothing but his equipment in a sled on 5" of ice. 8 years of being a machinist and 3 years of manufacturing engineering helped him create a plan in his head that would eventually become a reality. Thus the Ice Auger Machine. Adam has since updated and tested his design for 4 years now. A project manager at a machine and fab shop will help him in his desire of producing them for sale to the public. He hopes to start selling them as early as November of 2015.
