Hussain Manawer: Mother Tongue | One Young World Ottawa 2016

Описание к видео Hussain Manawer: Mother Tongue | One Young World Ottawa 2016

Hussain’s poem written and performed during the One Young World 2016 Special Session, 'Mother Tongue', describes his fight with the night time demons of depression, loneliness and anxiety alone and this is how he went wrong. He calls on others not to give in, and to recruit others to help reduce the stigma of mental illness.

This session took place at the 2016 One Young World Summit, the world's premier forum for young leaders, in Ottawa, Canada. The Summit brought together 1,300 delegates from all 196 UN-recognised countries, empowering them to make lasting connections to create positive change.
