In the murder case of a 19-year-old hotel receptionist, Pulkit Arya, the son of former Uttarakhand minister Vinod Arya, was detained along with two other suspects. The accused was allegedly pressuring the victim girl into prostitution, according to police officials. The woman was killed, and her body was dumped into a canal. The resort's owner Pulkit Arya, manager Saurabh Bhaskar, and assistant manager Ankit Gupta were detained after they admitted to killing the girl who went missing and dumping her body in the Cheela Canal, according to authorities. He added that a team had been dispatched to look for the girl's body in the canal
