Government has officially launched the distribution of inputs for the 2024/2025 Farmer Input Support Program (FISP).

Agriculture Minister REUBEN MTOLO has disclosed that the government is spending over 500 million dollars on FISP and about 7,000 farmers have so far deposited their K400.

Speaking in Serenje district today, Mr. MTOLO urged farmers to collect inputs individually and that no inputs must be sold.

Meanwhile, Central Province Minister MWABASHIKE NKULUKUSA said the rain focus for this year is favorable and urged farmers to plant in good time.
