Violent protests continue to Jolt B’desh, former PM Hasina’s coalition Party office set ablaze

Even months after the ouster of former PM Sheikh Hasina, violence continues to grip Bangladesh. Furious citizens persist in their violent protests, driven by socio-economic and political issues. In the latest spree of attacks, violent protesters set ablaze the Jatiya Party’s central office in Dhaka on October 31
Rioters were further seen destroying furniture and vandalising posters of party chairman Ghulam Muhammed Quader. The Jatiya Party had joined an alliance with former PM Sheikh Hasina’s Awami League in 2019. However, no one has claimed responsibility for Thursday night’s attack on Jatiya Party’s office.
