The Seeing Stone mission Middle Earth Shadow Of War walkthrough #5

Welcome to our Middle Earth Shadow Of War walkthrough #5 where we’ll be taking on the Minis Ithil-based mission, The Seeing Stone. This is one of the longer early missions, which includes a few different elements as you battle to help Idril safeguard the city from the attacking hordes of Sauron.

You should start out where we left things in the previous walkthrough underneath the city, so you’ll need to head on up to get to the start point for The Seeing Stone mission. If you go by foot, like us, you’ll come face to face with a savage Caragors. It’s like a cross between a savage dog and a sabre-toothed tiger, so it’s pretty formidable. You’ll need to use your arrows to take it out from afar – ideally better than we do.

The alternative is to use the Haedir fast travel to get back to the first tower you unlocked, which will cut out the fight with the Caragors. Either way, you then make your way to the start point for The Seeing Stone Mission, which will see you joining forces with Idril once again as you head out to protect the city gates.

To start with, you’ll need to dodge the aerial bombardments that are destroying the city and get in close enough to take out one of the siege beasts responsible for the flaming assault. Then you’ll need to take control of it and wreak your own damage back on the Orc army attacking the city. Repeat this again and you’ll complete the mission, unlocking the double jump along the way.
