Описание к видео GRIPRUTA, KRISTIANSUND, NORWAY - An unforgettable experience | The island of Grip

Grip is a unique and authentic fishing village located 14 kilometers north of Kristiansund. In the 16th century, Grip was the largest settlement in Nordmøre. The island was first owned by the Catholic Church, then by the Danish/Norwegian king, then by a number of private owners, before Grip became its own municipality in 1909 - Norway's smallest. Grip became part of Kristiansund in 1964.

There is a boat tour, duration: 3,5 hours and time spend in island is 2 hrs. You can also eat in a cafe over there. An experience for life! Once you have visited Grip, this island is a place you will never forget. Taking the ferry was like taking a trip in a time-machine back through the years as it's like Grip village is caught in a little time warp, quaint, beautiful, authentic... there was a very special ambiance there. Pleasant boat ride to charming small village.
