Musician reacts to Save Me and Play The Game performed by Queen live in Montreal! This live performance features Freddie Mercury on lead vocals AND piano, Brian May on the guitar and piano, John Deacon on the bass, and Roger Taylor on the drums. All musicians hear each other out on stage and are able to give an extraordinary performance!


I personally love the lighting design and energy from every single member of Queen on stage. There's never a dull moment on their stage. They're always giving it 100% and giving the audience what they came for.


Save Me was written by guitarist, Brian May, and was recorded in 1979. The song released on their album, The Game, in 1980 and released in the UK on January 5th of 1980. Brian May wrote the song "Save Me" about a friend whose marriage had recently ended.


Play The Game was written by lead vocalist and pianist, Freddie Mercury. It was the first track to appear on their album, The Game, and later released on their greatest hits album. The single was a massive hit in the UK reaching #14 in the charts! This song was recorded February - May of 1980.
