Reel 3. Jack introduces Suzette Tarri who does a comedy routine about working in a boarding house. One of the lodgers sleeps in his golf jacket because he can't undo the zip, one had to leave because he can't stand the smell of the cooking (even though he works at the sewage farm). She talks about dogs. She has been given the sack for being saucy.

Jack and Celia have a little dance as Victor Silvester and his Ballroom Orchestra begin to play "I'm Just Wild About Harry". Shots of the orchestra are inter cut with Victor and a partner dancing. The orchestra plays a Latin American number - could be 'The Lady In Red'.

Jack makes appreciative growling noises as Celia places a card in the frame to introduce Kenway & Young. They perform a pub sketch. She is the barmaid, he is a Chelsea Pensioner. She is doing some sewing. Joke revolving around a misunderstanding of the word trousseau - "the women seem to be wearing them as much as the men these days..." Underwear joke. They discuss who would be her "Mr Right". He gives her something for her sister's wedding present - a gold watch. She gives him a kiss on the cheek. He wonders what she would have done if he'd given her a fur coat!

Note: see "What the Public Wants!" where the roles of proprietor and customer are reversed.
