Build Your Emergency Food Storage FAST | Prepper 101

If you are BRAND NEW to preparedness, or you are looking to review your gear, this is the video series for you! We are looking at how to quickly make progress in your preparedness journey through short, actionable videos. Today we are going over the very basics of building a FOOD STORAGE BOX.

There are lots of methods for building up your food storage. You can build up a thick working pantry, start tackling 6 months of grains and legumes, or plan weekly. For me, building a dedicated food storage box is a quick way to get 7 days of meals that you already eat ready and set up without extra cost or worry. These foods can be cycled into your everyday pantry and replaced every 6 months to a year.

While I am recommending starting with 7 days, ideally you’d move on to quickly having 2 weeks. From there you have enough breathing room to start planning for a 30 day food storage plan.

BIG KEYS:
⭐ Store foods you already eat! If you’re buying new to you stuff, test it first!
⭐ Plan to add more water storage if you’re using lots of dehydrated/freeze dried food
⭐ Don’t forget to store dinks – coffee, tea, juice mix, rehydration powder
