How to Actually Play Marksman...

Is the Squad marksman really that useless? This round makes me re-think it's value in the game. Sure, most of the time it feels a bit unecessary, but in the right hands and the right place, maybe it's not so bad. Hopefully this gameplay video at the very least makes you think, let me know your take.
