Delicious Layered Fruit Trifle Recipe:
Ingredients:
Strawberries layer:
1 lb (450g) fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
Jelly layer:
1 box strawberry jelly
1 box orange jelly
1 box lime jelly
Fruit cake layer:
1 lb (450g) fruit cake, cut into cubes
Custard layer:
2 cups (500ml) ready-made custard or homemade custard
Cream layer:
2 cups (600ml) double cream
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract

Decoration:
Fresh strawberries, halved or whole
Instructions:
Prepare the Jelly:
Prepare the strawberry, orange, and lime jellies according to the package instructions. Pour each jelly into separate shallow dishes to set in the refrigerator. Once set, cut the jelly into cubes.
Layering the Trifle:
Strawberries Layer: In a large trifle dish, start by placing a layer of sliced strawberries at the bottom.
Jelly Layer: Add a layer of the jelly cubes, alternating the colors to create a vibrant layer.
Fruit Cake Layer: Place the cubes of fruit cake on top of the jelly layer, pressing them down gently.
Custard Layer: Pour the custard over the fruit cake layer, spreading it evenly.
Cream Layer:
In a mixing bowl, whisk the double cream with the sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Spread this whipped cream over the custard layer.
Decoration:
Decorate the top of the trifle with halved or whole fresh strawberries.
Chill:
Refrigerate the trifle for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
