In 1989 this show resulted in me traveling and performing in forty seven countries some of them many times over. Also all fifty states. Many countries at the time had their own version of The Tonight Show and invited guests they saw Johnny had presented. I had dreamed as a youngster of appearing on this show and meeting Johnny Carson. I ended up appearing on The Tonight show five times. Twice when Jay Leno was the permanent host. I was also on Ellen, Arsenio, The View, the today show and hundreds more tv shows. But Johnny was the career maker.
