Capitol Commons is a 10-hectare mixed-use development located along Meralco Ave. corner Shaw Blvd. Ortigas Center, Pasig City (former Rizal Provincial Capitol) that features modern living spaces, office facilities, and commercial areas that showcase premium retail and entertainment.

The Estancia Mall is part of the Capitol Commons Group, a joint venture of SM, Ortigas, and Ayala, and the new store's elegant design aligns itself with the character, philosophy, and design standards of the mall, while maintaining the shopping fun SM has been associated with for many years entertainment selection.

The 10-hectare (25-acre) site being developed by Ortigas & Company Limited Partnership, the same developer behind Ortigas Center, features Pasig's first high-end shopping center called Estancia at Capitol Commons.

The subway, which is set to have 17 stations, is said to lessen travel time between the two places to about 41 minutes, from an hour and a half.

It can service up to 519,000 passengers daily.The subway will be connected to the Light Rail Transit 1 and 2, Metro Rail Transit 3 and 7, and the Philippine National Railways, the DOTr said. Eventually, it will also be connected to the future MRT-4 and North-South Commuter Railway Project.

The subway, partly funded by Japan, will reportedly have disaster-resilient features at cutting-edge facilities.

The project is expected to be finished by 2029.

The CP104 contract includes the construction of two underground stations and tunnels at Ortigas North and Ortigas SouthThe DOTr targets to partially open the subway by 2025, with full operations slated by 2029.

The MMSP, which will stretch from Valenzuela City to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Pasay City.

When completed, the MMSP will reduce travel time between Quezon City to NAIA from 1 hour and 10 minutes to just 35 minutes.
