Watch as our massive cruise ship completely changes course to intercept a small, flagging boat drifting in the open ocean. The atmosphere on deck shifted from party vibes to intense silence as the rescue team lowered the lifeboats.

That’s the question everyone was whispering on the balcony. While "pirate" scares make for great movies, the reality is usually much more human. In this case, it was a group of refugees/stranded sailors whose engine had failed days ago. Under maritime law (and basic humanity), the Captain is obligated to help anyone in danger at sea.
