Green Day Pickup Shootout: Seymour Duncan SH-4 vs Bill Lawrence L-500XL

Описание к видео Green Day Pickup Shootout: Seymour Duncan SH-4 vs Bill Lawrence L-500XL

This is a follow-up to an older video I did a couple of years ago comparing the two pickups that Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day has used in his famous "Blue" Fernandes Stratocaster over the years. These are both fantastic performers with many similarities but each definitely has its own character and voice. Please leave a comment on which you prefer and why.

This time around I'm recording the pickups with a combo of an Sennheiser MD421 and a Shure SM57 instead of my iPad, so hopefully a truer example of the sound of these pickups comes through.
