This is my review of Jack Daniels Whiskey.

Jack Daniel's Black Label (also known as Old No. 7 or more commonly as JD or simply Jack) is one of the best selling whiskeys in the world. It is the signature brand that defines Tennessee whiskeyand is easily distinguishable from every other whiskey produced today.

Whether drinking it neat, on the rocks, or in a Jack and Coke or a Lynchburg Lemonade, Jack Daniels Black Label delivers a consistent, quality product that pleases imbibers around the world.

For most people it’s a common nose, taste and finish: vanilla, lemon, banana and sweet charred wood.

Personally, I find it very nice when mixed with soda/Coca-Cola. It’s not really a sipping Whisky - but one can appreciate its mass appeal.

Jack Daniel's Bottling Note :

A top-selling bottling from the Jack Daniel distillery, the mashbill is made up of 80% corn, 12% rye and 8% malt. The spirit is filtered through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal to produce a mellow, slightly smoky character, thus making it Tennessee whiskey...

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Light with plenty of sweetness. There are hints of dry spice and oily nuts, a touch of smoke.

Palate: Quite smooth and soft with notes of banana milkshake, a mixed nut note, a touch of caramel with crème anglaise.

Finish: Sweet with a little cereal sweetness and toasty oak.
