My New Northern Mist Classic Longbow

It's Here!!!! My new Northern Mist Classic Longbow from Steve Turay!
No I did NOT get this bow for free, or and discounts, or anything like that. I shoot his bows because I feel they are one of the best longbows available made by a guy who knows what he's doing and cares about his customers. I actually paid more than what he charges for the bow. Something we all should do. Custom bows are a labor of love done by bowyers that work their asses off. Next time you order anything custom from anyone always give them a little extra to show them how much you appreciate what they do. you tip a waitress because she bust her butt for ya, your bowyer is no different but I promise he is working harder to make sure your bow is exactly what you want and fits you perfectly.
AS many of you know I have been shooting Northern Mist bows for the last 4 years. I have 2 of Steve's Baraga models but wanted to try a "Hill" Style bow or ASL (american semi longbow) as they are called. This Classic model is a straight limb, straight grip traditional longbow. I LOVE IT!!! I was nervous when i ordered it wondering if i would shoot it well. But after watching Steve and others that shoot ASL bows shoot them so well I just had to see for myself. It took only a few shots to get used to it and man does it shoot right where im looking! I Love it!
