Where Eagles Dare - 2022 BIYB Christmas Concerts

The Brentwood Imperial Youth Band performed 3 Christmas Concerts in early December 2022 to raise funds to maintain it's 'Open-Door' policy. This enables anyone 10 years of age and above to become a member for just £1 per week - no musical experience is necessary with tuition and instruments provided. There were were 102 members performing on the night with an average age of just 13 and a half.
This is the theme to the 1968 war film starring Richard Burton, Clint Eastwood and Mary Ure - Where Eagles Dare. It was written by award winning composer Ron Goodwin.
We are indebted to our team of volunteers who run and support the Band and are very proud to have been awarded the 'Queen's Award for Voluntary Service' (The MBE for voluntary organisations) in Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee year 2022.
