Want the perfect split-screen in Adobe Premiere?

You can create vertical or horizontal split screens and figure out exactly where the centerline is.

To start, add a video clip to track one and another clip to track two.

You can change the position of each clip in the effect panel to move them left or right.
Now, search for crop effect and apply it to both clips. You can crop in any direction to get the effect you want. Continue to change position and crop both clips to get them to look like a split-screen.

To get exact measurements, you can turn on the ruler on the guide in your program window and put a visual guide right in the middle, and continue to resize your clips to match.
