In this short video, I'll show you how to reload a new blade in a snap off utility knife. With my current blade, there are 4 sections left before I need a new one. And the process to add a fresh blade is similar on all of these types of knives. And one of the models shown in the video does have extra blades stored inside the handle. But I'd say most knives probably won't have this feature.

To start, take off the end cap. This knife has the convenient storage compartment. Keeping this filled means I'll always have a fresh blade available when needed. But to actually change the blade, pull the main slider all the way out the back. Then hook a new blade to the tab in the slider and then insert it back into the handle. And to finish it off just snap on the end cap. And that's how you reload or change a blade in pretty much any snap off utility knife.
