Stredoveký hrad Niedzica sa nachádza na pravom brehu nádrže Czorsztyńskie v obci Niedzica-Zamek, na poľskom Spiši. Hrad sa volá aj Dunajec, (slovensky Nedeca) pretože je postavený na konci strmého ostrohu (556 m.n.m.) donedávna vyčnievajúceho vysoko (až 75m) nad korytom rieky Dunajec. Až napustenie priehradnej nádrže v 80-tých rokoch výrazne zmenilo konfiguráciu terénu.

Z orlieho hniezda sa stal romantický vodný hrad, ktorý patrí k najväčším turistickým atrakciám v južnom Poľsku . Zámok je zachovaný v takmer v celom rozsahu. Sprístupnené sú komnaty horného a stredného hradu. Horný hrad si zachoval svoje historické zariadenie a povahu. V strednom hrade sa nachádzajú expozície spojené s jeho dejinami a vybavením šľachtického sídla. Najvyššie položená, a tiež najstaršia časť s vysokou hranolovou vežou bola postavená z vápenca. Pozostáva okrem veže, kaplnky aj s malej obytnej časti, je tu aj malé nádvorie so studňou, hlbokou 90 metrov.

The medieval castle of Niedzica is located on the right bank of the Czorsztyńskie reservoir in the village of Niedzica-Zamek, in Spiš, Poland. The castle is also called Dunajec (Nedeca in Slovak) because it is built at the end of a steep promontory (556 m.a.s.l.) that until recently protruded high (up to 75 m) above the bed of the Dunajec river. Only the filling of the dam reservoir in the 1980s significantly changed the configuration of the terrain.

The eagle's nest became a romantic water castle, which is one of the biggest tourist attractions in southern Poland. The castle is preserved in almost its entirety. The rooms of the upper and middle castle are accessible. The Upper Castle has preserved its historical furnishings and character. In the middle castle, there are exhibits related to its history and the equipment of the noble residence. The highest and also the oldest part with a tall prismatic tower was built of limestone. In addition to the tower, the chapel also consists of a small residential area, there is also a small courtyard with a well, 90 meters deep.
