The scanner obtains the tests for detecting vulnerabilities from a feed that has a long history and daily updates.

Setup instructions

⭕️ Step 1: install openvas with the apt get command
sudo apt-get install openvas

⭕️Step 2: Setup Greenbone vulnerability management
sudo gvm-setup

⭕️Step 3: Check the health of Greenbone and openVAS with;
gvm-check-setup
