Resident Evil 6 was released by capcom back in 2012. Following Resident Evil 5 it consisted of more action-oriented gameplay then the traditional horror gameplay of early Resident Evil games. This was also the first resident evil game to offer four individual campaigns and skill points that can be used to upgrade your character. Another thing this game did was include hidden collectibles that are scattered across each campaign that unlock lore and action figures in the extra menu. Now as with most modern Resident Evil games it does include mercenary mode.


The Story: Resident Evil 6 intertwines four interconnected campaigns following several protagonists—Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield, Jake Muller, and Ada Wong—as a new bioterror threat emerges worldwide. A deadly virus called the C-virus triggers catastrophic outbreaks in places like Tall Oaks, China, and Eastern Europe. Each campaign reveals a different piece of the conspiracy orchestrated by the mysterious organization Neo-Umbrella.

As the heroes fight mutated creatures and uncover hidden agendas, their stories converge toward stopping a global bioterror apocalypse. The game blends action, horror, and political intrigue, emphasizing cooperation and the personal struggles of its characters.
