Mighty Goose Was Developed By Blastmode And MP2 Games, It Was Then Published By Playism And Released On 5 June 2021. Mighty Goose Is A Run And Gun 2d Side Scroller And Is Pretty Fast Paced. Mighty Goose On Steam Has Received Just Under 500 Reviews And Is Rated At Very Positive, But We Will Get Into That Right Before My Official Verdict.

Mighty Goose Is As I Already Said A Charming Side Scroller About The Galaxies Most Prolific Bounty Hunter, It Has Classic Super Nintendo Graphics That Kind Of Give The Whole Game A Galaxy Of The Guardian’s Vibe. Where it Both Feels New And Nostalgic At The Same Time.
What Is Super Cool About Mighty Goose Is Its Combat Though Super Simple It Actually Is A Ton Of Fun. There Is Not Much To Learn Combat Wise But It Feels Impactful And Full. I Personally Liked Using The Shotgun To Blast Away Hordes of Enemies In One Double Barrel Shot.

Another Impressive Thing About Mighty Goose’s Combat Is The Fast Paced Run And Gun Combat That Pairs So Nicely With The Rage System. As You Play Through Mighty Goose You Will Build Your Rage Meter, Once Full You Unleash A Barrage Of Bullets At Your Enemies leaving Them No Room To Counter Or Opening for Attack.

There Is A reason That Mighty Goose Is The Galaxies Best Bounty Hunter And It Because He Will Literally Destroy The Galaxy To Find His Targets.
The Target’s Or Enemies In Mighty Goose Though Basic Counter Its Simplicity With Overwhelming Numbers And Technology. You Might Be Fighting Ground Slugs When All Of A Sudden A Bunch Of Enemies Drop From The Sky In Crates. Our Maybe A Bunch Of Baddies On Hovering Motorcycles Will Start To Bombard You While You Traverse The Map.

Now Don’t You Worry Your Little Goose Head You Have Stuff To Counter These Baddies As Well. You Got Flying Bad Guys Use Your Plane, Oh Need To Chase Down A Convoy Use Your Own One Wheeled Motor Bike. There Is Always Something To Get You Around The Map And To Your End Goal Of Killing The Void King.

That IS Until There Is Not A Way.

There Will Be Times Where You Are In a Segment Where You Need A Vehicle But Then You8 Die And Have To Respawn. When You Respawn you Will Be At Whatever Check Point You Last Passed. Sometimes That Check Point Is Nowhere Near A Vehicle Spawn And You Now Have To Walk This Super Cool Map That Was Designed For A Vehicle. Now The Maps Are Always Traversable Without A Vehicle You Just Kind of Feel Like Your Missing Out On The Actual Intent Of The Level.

Lets Get Back to The Good Stuff.

There Are Mass Amounts Of Enemies And Bosses Alike To Find And Destroy, You Will Move Through The Galaxy On The Trail Of The Void King, Taking Out His Minions And Armies Along The Way. While Doing This You Will Save Companions That Will Join You Throughout You Bounty Hunter Adventurers.

Though Little Secret the Best On In My opinion Is The First One You Get As He Makes Sure You Are Always Carrying A Machine Gun.

Mighty Goose IS A Great Game And Will Make Sure You Have A Enjoyable GAming Experience While Remaining Casual.
