Researchers at Cortical Labs in Melbourne, Australia have trained brain cells in a dish to play the classic video game Pong.

Using electrodes that connect to neurons and simulate the game, the team's lead chief scientific officer, Brett Fagan, gave the brain cells feedback on whether they were able to hit or miss the ball with their paddles.
