He continued to stare at me, his eyes searching mine until I felt a gentle touch on my left cheek. He slowly moved his hand up to the purple mark. I cringed slightly at his touch, it still hurt. He instinctively jerked his hand away.

"I'm sorry...does it still hurt?" he asked me, his voice still shaky and hoarse.

I shook my head.

"I'm so sorry, Jas..." I could see the hurt and pain in his eyes. I didn't want him to feel that way, no matter how much he had hurt me.

I hushed him. "Shhh, no it's fine Justin". I placed my finger gently on his lips, his lips brushing against it before he kissed it.

He carefully took my face in his hands, brushing away a piece of loose hair, before pressing his lips against mine softly. I kissed him back hungrily, suddenly realizing how much I had missed the taste of his lips. Feeling my desire, he started to suck on my bottom lip, again making me unconsciously moan.

This time, I pressed my tongue against his lips begging for entrance which he allowed. I felt Justin grab onto my legs, wrapping them around his waist before lifting me up off the stool, our mouths still connected.

Our tongues started to battle one another's, both of us pouring all our longing and wanting into that kiss. He started to move us down the hall to our bedroom until I felt my back hit a wall. He grabbed onto a fistful of my hair, pushing myself even closer to him.

We fought for dominance for a while, neither of us wanting to stop, but finally we broke apart for air. I looked up and Justin's eyes were staring at mine. He smiled at me: his eyes gleaming, his face flushed, and his lips rouged. I felt myself blush.

"I love you..." he suddenly whispered in my ear, before trailing kisses down my jawline and neck. I instinctively leaned my head back in pleasure. He started to trail his lips down to my collarbone, moving across towards my shoulders, starting to remove my cardigan. I abruptly tried to stop him, holding my sweater against me, but he was too strong.

He peeled away one side of my cardigan, but then he stopped when he saw the mark. I searched his face nervously, waiting. I saw him cringe, the pain apparent on his face. I wanted to cry. I didn't want him to see them. He went to remove the other side, but I tried to stop him again. "Justin, no..." I started to say, but he didn't listen. His face was suddenly filled with horror. He looked up at me, his eyes were full of tears.

"I hurt you" he stammered through his teeth. "I fucking hurt you..."

"Please Justin", I pleaded. "It's okay..."

"No, it's not" he replied. "I fucking hurt you. Fuck"

"Justin..."

"I'm a monster", he suddenly retorted. "I'm a fucking monster" He removed my legs from my waist and put me down, his hands covering his face. I quickly got up and ran towards him, wrapping my cardigan around me making sure the marks were covered.

"No, you're not Justin", I exclaimed but he didn't listen.

"Shut up, Jas. How can you fucking say that I'm not a monster when you have bruises on your fucking body??" he shouted.

"B-because that's not how you really are", I stammered, feeling my face getting wet with tears. "A-and I-I love you-"

"How can you fucking love me?" he retorted, his voice rising. I tried to gently grab onto his arm to calm him down, but he briskly pulled away.

"Justin, please" I whispered, my voice shaking. "Please listen to me. You're not a monster. You don't mean it when you do it, you-"

"How the fuck do you know I don't mean it?! What if it's something I can't control, something I enjoy doing? How the fuck can you say that you love me when I fucking hurt you?"

"B-because there's no one else in the world who makes me feel the way that you do. And I know you love me just as much as I love you, Justin"

"And how can you be sure of that?"

"How can you even say that right now??" I exclaimed. Was he seriously questioning my feelings for him, and moreover -- his own feelings for me? I didn't know how much more I could take.

"BECAUSE I FUCKING HURT YOU! Do you not comprehend that in that small brain of yours? How can someone fucking love someone who hurts them?!" His eyes were now full of rage, and I knew that sweet boy was far from gone right now.

"You know what? Fuck this" he suddenly grumbled, before walking out of the room. I waited for the familiar sound of the front door slamming, and when I did, I crawled myself into bed suddenly feeling more angry than sad. I was tired of crying.

I didn't know what to think anymore. Justin's rage was getting worse and him questioning what we had fucking hurt more than being slapped in the face. But the thing was that I didn't know how much more of this I could take...

Suddenly my phone vibrated. Without checking, I pressed "accept call".

"Hey Jas"

I smiled at the sound of their voice.
