Why do cymbals break? Whether you are just starting drums, or you've been playing for a Millenia, breaking cymbals is not anything fun to do.

Cracked cymbals is typically the phrase we use when we are talking about breaking cymbals. Cymbal cracks can happen in a few different ways and there are some easy adjustments we can make to help prolong any cymbal's life.

A cymbal bell crack, bow crack, and edge crack are the three types of cymbal cracks that we shed the most light on in this video.

Proper cymbal care is important if we want to save money. Cymbals cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and I'm passionate about helping other drummers avoid any cymbal crack.
