The Flipped Classroom is a term that refers to reversing the roles of a traditional school model. In the traditional model, students go to a place where there is a lecturer, the lecturer lectures and the students takes notes. After the lecture is finished, students leave to try to practice their new knowledge on their own. In the Flipped Classroom, students watch a video created ahead of time by the lecturer before they come to the classroom. While they are in the classroom the teacher correct mistakes and misconceptions and then is able to provide help and guidance during the application part of acquiring new knowledge.
