This 1955 Ford F100 has undergone a full ground up build into the incredible truck you see here today. Starting with engine, the truck runs a 408ci Windsor that has been built using a Dart 4 bolt block, Eagle 4340 double keyed crank, Eagle H beam steel rods, JE forged pistons with an 8:5:1 ratio, Competition cams roller camshaft, Manley Stainless steel valves, Edelbrock Aluminium heads, BDS blow manifold with an 871 Blower by The Blower Shop on top. Fuel is fed via a pair of Holley 750 boost reference Carbs. Spark is supplied by an MSD ALB Coil feeding a Mallory Distributer. A custom Stainless steel exhaust system lets the gasses flow with custom outlets moulded into the side steps. The engine is paired to a Ford 4R70W Automatic transmission with 2200 RPM stall. The original leaf springs have been ditched in favour of a Mustang II independent front end with rack and pinion power steering. The rear is a four link setup with QA1 coil overs holding a 9” diff with 28 spline axles. The fuel cell has been relocated to under the tub. Pulling things up is a full set of Willwood disk brakes on each corner. The truck rolls on Budnik GTX Billet wheels measuring 20x8 front and 20x12 in the rear. The paint and body on the truck are gorgeous finished in Platinum metallic Grey. The widened rear guards are all steel and there is a reverse tilt hood to show off the polished and nicely detailed engine bay. The bumpers have been tucked front and rear, tailgate chains shaved and gaps all tightened from factory. Inside the truck has been beautifully retrimmed with billet switches and aftermarket gauges and steering wheel. The truck retains it bench seat configuration and column shifter to keep it a real three seater. Vintage Air Conditioning has been added to keep you cool when cruising around and it a feat to include under the bonnet with the blower belt. The bed in the back is beautifully fitted with polished timber and wheel tubs meaning the only thing it’s hauling these days is ass. These 50s trucks are always incredibly popular and this one is right up there with the best we have seen.
