J.O. isn’t your average kid from Yonkers. At the age of 10, he experienced losing two male figures in his life to the system. At the age of 17, his life switched around while being there for someone he shouldn’t have. While doing his sentence, he had a change of heart. A change for the better. A change that gave our youth the influence they needed. In 2019, thats when 914 United was created. A mentoring organization to give our youth the guidance needed instead of being in the streets jeopardizing their future. Let’s give J.O. his flowers as we hear and discuss his life experiences.
