Troublemaker Ducks - Pond Cleaning & Maintenance Did Not Go As Expected!

This is Pondi Beach.
The rebel is President Daisy, Khaki Campbell duck. I saw her sneak in like a ninja, in all her stealth, she slipped past my feet and then called her friends to join her in mischief and mayhem. Before I know it, they were swimming in a pond only half full and having a good time, so I took advantage and started filming. Some of the more "adult" behaviors have been cut out. They had to wait until the water raised a little more and they could reach their exit "ramp" before they were able to get out.
Daisy is always exploring and noticing new things, especially things she shouldn't get into. She then will call the others over, so she isn't alone when she knows she gets caught! She is very smart.

About the pond:
The pond is a 255 gallon preform pond. I drilled a hole in the bottom and put a tub drain. I put a pipe with an plastic turning on/off handle that I was unable to turn after a year of crud. I added the pool hose in hopes to water the garden, water took forever to come out. If I ever remember when I am at the store, I want to get some kind of cap to put on the end of the pipe. I used a plug in the drain.. but that's just too yucky trying to get it out. The fence around is made of pallets and stained white. There is a swinging gate with a closed sign so I can close it for maintenance. (Obviously, this was open when Daisy snuck in) I add the shade cloth in spring while the plants are growing to provide some shade. This year I put the fake grass around the edge of the pond to limit the amount of mud from ducks drilling. If that fails, I will use anti-fatigue mats with holes next year.
It is really easy to clean the pond, even with the mud. This is my first time cleaning it without heaps of sloppy mud 2 inches thick, so it went really quickly.
The blue mat helps the ducks get out of the pond, since there is no ledge on the pond and the walls are slick. It is a dish drainer that is put across the sink, it is food safe vinyl coated and flexible, made in Germany, purchased at a big box hardware store, it is held in the ground with heavy duty tent pegs.
