How to Find Stock Photo and Video for YouTube

Using stock photos and videos in your YouTube videos is a great way to keep the viewers engaged. This will increase the retention time for your video. But you have to make sure you have the correct permission to use the photos and videos in your video.

Some photos and videos are copyright protected and can’t just be used in any video.

You need to use royalty-free images and videos in your videos.
You can use free websites as well as paid services.

I’ll show you a free and a paid option and compare the two options and why you may want to pay.

A free option that is used by a lot of YouTubers is Pexels.com
A lot of these images and videos can be used on any video without copyright issues.

You can also use a paid service called Envato Elements.
This is a subscription service for photos, videos, music, and pretty much everything else you need for YouTube videos.
