The coronation ceremony of Vishvraj Singh Mewar, a descendant of Maharana Pratap and MLA from Nathdwara, was organized at Fateh Sagar Prakash Mahal in Chittorgarh. First, Vishvraj Singh Mewar worshipped the throne, after which Salumbhar Rawat Devvrat Singh held Vishvraj Singh Mewar's hand and seated him on the throne and performed the tradition of coronation. He took out the sword from the sheath and made an incision on his thumb and applied tilak on Vishvraj Singh Mewar's forehead with the blood that came out of the thumb. During this, Vedic mantras were being recited by the pandits.
