First point of call during the Henry Cecil Open Weekend with some stable yards open was to see some Owners Group Horses.

First on the list was the yard of Kevin Philippart De Foy to see Bow Street and managed to catch Covert Mission. One of Covert Missions owners said he is heading off to Equiprep shortly. The James Fergusson yard was also open as it has been for the previous two years. This allowed me to go and see Diderot. He is always a character, puts on a show and such a joy to see.

There was a sad moment not being able to see Bertie (Engelbert) this year, although he is now having the best time retired in a field with Syllabus down at Equiprep in wiltshire.....Miss you Bertie!!
