The second book is Consonant Blends with My Animal Friends - many consonant blends in Australian English (a consonant blend, also known as a consonant cluster, is when two or three consonants are next to eachother). As children are learning to speak, before they start school, they often delete one sound in the blend! Reading consonant blends when they get to school is often difficult! This is where this book comes in and can support extra practice at home

Neither of the books are decodable readers and do not replace decodable readers
