Plovdiv is the second-largest city in Bulgaria, on the banks of the Maritsa River in the historical region of Thrace. Plovdiv is a cultural hub in Bulgaria and was the European Capital of Culture in 2019. The city is an important economic, transport, cultural, and educational center. Plovdiv dates back to 6000 B.C. the longest continually inhabited city in Europe with ruins dating back to the first Century. The Seven Hills of Plovdiv give you amazing views of the city and the surrounding area.

Plovdiv Bulgaria is one of our favorite destinations in Europe. You will be amazed at the 2000-year-old Roman ruins that we will show you. We saw them in person, and we are still amazed at how well preserved they are!

Plovdiv, Bulgaria is an amazing place to visit and we recommend it to anyone interested in seeing a really amazing city and some phenomenal 2000-year-old ruins!
