in today's video i m going to upgrade Storage of my Dell XPS 15 laptop Which is ultra-powerful, non-gaming laptop. So i decided to make it more better by adding 2nd ssd drive.

If you are planning to upgrade your dell xps machine so this video will help you to understand the process of adding 2nd storage drive in this laptop.

I am using Samsung EVO because Samsung is best for both performance and speed.

My dell laptop came with bigger battery and there was only one 512GB m2 ssd drive - so to add 2nd ssd drive i need to change my battery first.

I bought small battery so that my laptop can have space to add a 2.5" drive. as you can see i have already fixed new battery which is smaller one.. and on right side i got free space to add my ssd drive.

Now to add 2nd storage option in dell xps laptop, you need to have couple of things.

A Hard Disk Drive Mounting Kit
and a special cable to connect this hard drive with system motherboard.
