Every now and then other zoological centers in our area will reach out for help with raising a baby. It’s not often that it happens, but when it does it’s because something has happened and the baby requires specialized care. They are NOT being pulled to be raised as pets. Every now and then we will get one that is to be raised as an animal ambassador, but again, not often. We love baby animals and consider it a blessing to help give them a fighting chance, which is why we have a little wildlife NICU on site. This little guy was premature and started life at 21 grams, compared to a healthy monkey of his species which would be double that! Bob is a Cotton Top Tamarin, a critically endagered species.
