It has been a great occasion for CII to constitute an award like Industrial Innovation Awards for the first time in India which received an overwhelming response from all sections of the industry. The purpose of the award is to encourage innovation and business growth, and recognize innovation excellence of companies without being judgmental about the kind and nature of innovation.

The award was open to all kinds of innovative processes, products, services and technologies done by large, medium and small organizations in manufacturing and services sector. All private, public and not for profit entity incorporated in

India, regardless of its size and type of industry, that have fuel led growth in the economy through new ideas and innovative approaches leading to tangible results were eligible to participate.

This year the award honored 5 best companies in different award categories, and recognized the top 26 Innovative Organizations in India.
