Farewell HST (London St. Pancras to Nottingham) - DRIVERS EYE VIEW

Описание к видео Farewell HST (London St. Pancras to Nottingham) - DRIVERS EYE VIEW

The first drivers eye view of the year! Filmed before the lockdown, recorded for posterity just before all of these classic trains are taken out of service, Farewell HST shows you a drivers eye view of the Midland Mainline from London St. Pancras International to Nottingham.

Discussing a brief bit of history of the trains to begin with, we then turn to the drivers eye view for our 128 mile journey to the capital of the East Midlands of England. We shall be riding on board the fast service to Nottingham calling at Market Harborough, Leicester, East Midlands Parkway and Nottingham.

In the modern era of the 21st centuary we get to see the new rolling stock on the line, the overhead wires which we travel under to Kettering and also get to hear the history associated with the line. Numerous runby shots of the trains, some in red some in blue, but makes no difference. As always, please like, comment and subscribe to this channel.

I apologise for the shaky camera throughout the drivers eye view, hope it doesn’t put you off.

Enjoy the ride!
