Learn English Better! After teaching thousands of classes, there's one thing that really annoys me. Most of my students are intermediate level and many of them have been learning English since they were kids in school, but they still can't speak well, they still make basic mistakes, they still have trouble understanding fast, natural speech. Probably sounds familiar, right? The traditional system has failed you. But there's a better way to learn English.

Language is about communication, but more importantly, it's about purpose: what do you want to say and why? This can affect the stress in a sentence, which preposition you use, which verb tense you use, and other things. Every language has its own personality, just like people. It's possible to learn and feel the personality of the English language.

In fact, did you know that there's a hidden network of associations inside the mind of native speakers? You have this in your native language, also, but you probably don't realize it. This includes how to use prepositions, collocations (including idioms), and more. For example, in English we say, "take a step", but in Spanish we say, "give a step". There's a reason for this.

Did you also know that there are sounds in English that you probably can't even hear right now because you haven't trained your ears for English?

And all the grammar and pronunciation rules, most of which have exceptions! Rules can be useful and can even help you learn faster, but too much will just slow you down. This is because rules are just descriptions of a language. You don't want to learn a description of English, you want to be a fluent speaker of real, natural American English!
