A Christian goes to heaven not bcoz of what he did ,but bcoz of What Christ did on Calvary for him.

May the Love of God open our hearts

How can I know am saved or chosen?
Where is the assurance of my salvation?
How can a person be right with God?
who can save me from my sins?
How can I know my sins are forgiven?

If our salvation depends on our wavering devotional life or on our feeble faith or on our muddled religiosity we would never be saved .
Salvation belongs to the LORD alone.

Many times we Christians experience spiritual depression . Because we start believing in Satan's lie that if we won't be good enough by doing certain things or if we don't please God by our perfection or if we sin , we would be left by God . We believe in the enemy's lying instead of God's Truth.

Doubting God's Promises which is doubting the nature of God Himself.
Just because we don't feel anything ( we depend more on feelings than faith) we think we are not saved . We beat ourselves as a person who mourns as if there is no hope.

GOD SAYS "Repent and Run to Christ because He is our only Refuge"
1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

But the devil says beat yourself up, God is not going to love you, you are far from His mercy.
Now that's a lie straight from hell.

When King David sinned against God & was confronted by prophet Nathan he mourned over his sin & ran into the arms of God. Where else can we Go but to the Savior.

Let us pray with David
"Have mercy upon me, O God,
According to Your loving kindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,And cleanse me from my sin.For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned, Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness,That the bones You have broken may rejoice.Hide Your face from my sins,
And blot out all my iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit." (Psalms 51) NKJV

We would be damned & devastated forever because in ourselves we've nothing that can neither save us nor keep us in this Christian life, but God Who is rich in Mercy holds us together . We run to Christ because only through His blood we are reconciled to the Father not by any means.

A Christian goes to heaven not because of what he did or said but because of What Christ did on the Calvary , His vicarious substitutionary atonement redeemed sinners like you and me from God's Wrath & our eternal damnation , we have received abounding Grace & endless Mercies from Our Triune God.

Without God in Christ we have no hope .
